We have carefully planned out each day to give you the best possible experience. Join us as we take you on a journey through some of the most fascinating destinations in the world.
The Upper Mustang Helicopter Tour will generally begin early in the morning. You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast and transferred to TIA. Once everything is ready, we will take off from Kathmandu and fly towards our first stop, Jomsom. You will be able to enjoy your first aerial views of the Nepalese terrain and scenery for about 30 minutes. Once at Jomsom, we will land and stop for another 30 minutes or so for refueling.
Once we take off from Jomsom, you will be able to admire the eagle’s eye view of the breathtaking Annapurna region. The arid and windy hills and valleys of Mustang are reminiscent of the vast Tibetan Plateau. Our next stop will be at Lo Manthang, where you will have a whole hour for exploration.
Lo Manthang used to be the capital of the former kingdom of Lo. This walled city is a historic settlement that offers lots of exploration opportunities for visitors. The best ones include the 600 year old Royal Palace, the centuries old monasteries, and of course the whole city that gives you a medieval feel. Witnessing the untouched culture and unique lifestyle of the Loba people will also surely be quite an experience.
After completing the exploration of Lo Manthang, we will hop on the Heli one last time for our return journey. You will be able to enjoy views of Annapurna and Dhaulagiri ranges one more time. We will stop shortly at Jomsom for refueling before ending the tour at Pokhara or Kathmandu as you prefer.
